My Go-To Winter Beauty Products For Soft, Pouty Lips
It’s a new year and a few weeks into the winter season which means it’s time for a beauty reset. The weather is a lot colder now and like many, I suffer from dry, chapped lips. So on days when my lips are basically falling off, I press pause on my usual beauty routine and make a few swaps to make sure my lips are protected from the cold weather.
I added two “superhero” lip products that tackle specific issues and both are from Neutrogena’s new Hydro Boost line. What I really like about this line is that all of the products contain hyaluronic acid. For those who aren’t familiar with hyaluronic acid, I’ll break it down for you. It’s a really powerful hydrator that acts as a sponge for dry skin. It can absorb up to 1000x its weight in water thus helping to keep skin feeling hydrated.

Integrating these new products into my winter beauty routine was pretty simple for me. I think my lips are one of my best features and during the winter, they’re prone to dryness and peeling. I take care of my lips by first exfoliating them with a honey and sugar scrub mixture which you can easily make at home.
Once the prep work is done, I dab on a bit of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment so my lips are smooth and hydrated before applying a lip color.
