With any good hairstyle, taking the time to make it look and neat and pretty is what matters. Follow other hair tutorials you find on the net and invest in good hair care products.

We as black women have such versatile hair and this type of hairstyle looks amazing on us. We just have to be more patient with our hair and making sure we style the hair without causing damage to it. Using hair care products that moisturizes the hair is key. Think curling creams, butters and oils to keep it soft and bring in moisture. It’s also super important to use a rat tail comb when parting the hair so you can achieve a clean straight part. Lastly, make sure you have enough bobby pins to secure the hair, gel and hairspray so it lasts for a long time.

Honestly anyone can pull off this look no matter the hair texture; but I must say, it looks especially good on us natural hair gals. I tried this once with an afro one time and it turned out fantastic. This boho hairstyle is also known as the “spaced bun” hairstyle and you often see girls wear this look at music festivals. However, it can also be a perfect look for school or to just go out and hang wit friends.

This hidden half up do is such a flattering look and you can easily recreate this look in 2 minutes. This Youtuber did this look on stretched hair and it looks fabulous. You could also try to recreate this look with curly hair too. Great to wear out on a romantic date!

Here’s another fun half up half down natural hair do and this time it’s a twisted crown hairstyle. I’ve seen this hairstyle numerous times with braids so this is a nice “twist,” lol. The cornrows in the front is a nice touch. Since, I have 4B and 4C hair, I would first blow dry it and then apply flexi rods so the curls can last longer.

I have so much love for wavy hairstyles. That’s why of love this wavy hair look.
