Recipe: Blood Orange and Ginger Ale Mimosa Cocktail
It’s blood orange season (Yay!) which always gives me an excuse to make one of my favorite cocktail recipes: Blood Orange and Ginger Ale Mimosa Cocktail. This fresh sparkling mimosa features blood orange juice, ginger ale, and a touch of white sparkling wine. It taste so sweet and delicious! I make it for friends and family all the time and they love it. It’s also really simple and quick to relax after work.
Blood Orange and Ginger Ale Mimosa Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 cup of Blood orange juice (or Italian Blood orange soda)
- 1 cup of Ginger Ale
- 1/2Â cup of Sparkling Wine (ex. Prosecco)
- 1/4 cup of lime juice
- Lime wedges (for garnish)
- Salt (for the rim)
Serving Size:Â 2
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1. Pour some salt on a plate that’s slightly bigger than the top of your cocktail glass.
Step 2. Rub lime juice around the rim of your glass. Dip the top of the glass into the salt at a 45-degree angle and roll it from side to side.
Step 3. Combine blood orange juice, lime juice, ginger ale & ice. Mix well.
Step 4. Next, pour in the sparkling wine and garnish with a lime wedge.
