My Morning Beauty Routine for Winter
My skin as a of late is in definite need of help and if I don’t do something now, it will get worse. I’m use to this though. It happens every year when my skin transitions to winter which usually happens around November. As much as I love the cold weather seasons, my skin hates it. The breeze and lack of humidity in the air makes my skin extremely dry. The best way for me to keep my skin from cracking this upcoming winter season is to develop and maintain a healthy beauty routine.

My Morning Beauty Ritual
As soon as I wake up, I begin the day by showering using a moisturizing body wash and I cleanse my face with Swedish Dreams Sea Salt Soap.
After showering, I apply a new body lotion that I’m using from a product line called Amlactin. I like to apply it immediately after showering to help lock in the moisture. I first learned of Amlactin in a beauty magazine this past summer and it peaked my curiosity. Actually, I frequently read beauty and fashion magazines because it’s a great way to discover new products and you never know when you’ll find the next best beauty secret.
I’m using Amlactin Cerapeutic Restoring Body Lotion to my body and Amlactin Ultra Hydrating Body Cream on my rough areas: feet, knees, and elbows. The cerapides in the formula helps to retain moisture while healing extremely rough, flaky, dry skin. Our skin loses moisture as we age and leaves it looking and feeling dull and dry. That’s why I find Amlactin’s powerful alpha hydroxy therapy truly beneficial as it also helps exfoliate and hydrate the skin so it stays soft and smooth at any age.
Next, I apply Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming serum to my face and neck, Benefit Cosmetics It’s Potent eye cream, and Proactiv’s Oil-Free SPF 15 moisturizer. Last but not least, I finish up with Sara Happ’s The Lip Slip lip balm. Gotta keep my lips soft and hydrated too!
That’s it! My beauty ritual for dry skin is finally out so I hope this was an informative read for you. Amlactin is having a giveaway on their Facebook page every week so head on over to enter and learn more.
