In fact, it’s possible to glow up in a short of out of time. In fact, I’m going to show you how to glow up in a month in this 30 day challenge!
A month may not seem like much time, but it’s long enough to have a big impact. If you challenge yourself to go through a month-long glow up, you’ll feel like you have a new lease on life by the time the month is over!
So keep reading as I show you how to glow up in a month and become the best version of yourself.
What Is a Glow Up?
A glow up is essentially a full mind and body transformation. I pulled the exact definition from Urban Dictionary and here’s how they define it:
When you glow up, you work to improve every aspect of yourself. As you work to glow up, you’ll improve your appearance, your physical and mental health, and go through an emotional transformation.
If you’re not happy with the way you look right now, there are all kinds of ways you can improve yourself. You can get glowing, healthy-looking skin. You can keep yourself from looking tired and frazzled all day. You can find ways to relax and work to improve your self esteem.
Glowing up doesn’t mean changing who you are. Instead, it’s about becoming a better version of yourself. By making a lot of small changes and improvements, you’ll be able to see a big difference in a short period of time.
What Is The Glow Up Challenge?
When you join this glow up challenge, you’ll take steps to improve yourself every single day for a full 30 days. For an entire month, you’ll need to make sure you set aside time for self-care on a daily basis. This challenge will help you to look prettier, feel better, and develop a lot of good habits you’ll be able to stick with in the future.
Many of us lead busy lives, and because of that, we don’t always set aside extra time for ourselves. This challenge is a way to make sure you’re not neglecting things like skincare, sleep, and stress management. Once you manage to take better care of yourself for a full month, you’ll see how easy it can be to give yourself the level of care that you deserve and make it a daily habit.
How Can I Glow Up In 30 Days?
Transforming yourself in one month might sound impossible. Even if you’ve seen before and after images of other women that have gone through a glow up, you might think that there’s no way you can achieve the same results. You may even assume that a dramatic transformation would require a lot of your time and a big financial investment.
Well…you are so WRONG!
While you might not be able to afford to visit a spa or buy a new wardrobe, there are plenty of ways to improve yourself that don’t cost much as all. In fact, some of the most effective ways to enhance your appearance won’t cost you a thing. Just taking better care of yourself can have a big impact on how you look and feel.
A lot of the things you’ll do to glow up will lead to small improvements, but all those improvements will add up! Little by little, you’ll see yourself looking better and feeling better. If you take a picture before you start the glow up challenge, and compare it to how you look after the challenge is completed, you might be amazed to see just how much you’ve changed.
How Long Will It Take to Glow Up?
While this glow up challenge lasts for 30 days, it won’t take an entire month to start seeing positive changes in yourself. In fact, some of the steps you take over the course of your challenge will lead to immediate improvements.
Beyond that, you won’t have to stop improving yourself once the challenge has ended. You can go through a glow up in thirty days, and you can continue to build on what you started once that time has based. You’ll be able to develop habits that will allow you to continually upgrade yourself!
After This 1 Month Glow Up Challenge
It’s possible to have a dramatic change after you learn how to glow up in a month and follow through. After you’ve completed this challenge, you’ll look and feel like a healthier and happier version of yourself. Try to keep up the good habits you’ve developed after the 30 days are over. The longer you continue these habits, the more you’ll be able to benefit from them.
How to Glow Up In a Month
In order to make serious progress in just one month, you’ll need to take on self-improvement tasks every day. Some of these tasks only need to be done once, while others should be repeated on a daily basis. Little by little, these daily tasks will guide you towards how to glow up in a month and become the person you’ve always wanted to be.
Day 1: Get Organized
Plenty of women don’t feel like they have time for self care. The right organizational system will help you find the time you need. You can use a daily planner, create a bullet journal, or use a digital organization app!
Day 2: Start Tracking Your Water Intake
Dehydration can make dark circles more prominent, and it can leave your skin looking dull. Start off the month by using a tracking tool to keep track of the water you’re drinking. If you’re struggling to drink enough water, try adding lemon or carrying a cute water bottle or drink smoothies. That counts too!
Day 3: Clear Out Your Kitchen
If you want to look beautiful on the outside, you’ve got to take care of what’s inside! Go through your kitchen and get rid of unhealthy processed foods. Keep tasty and healthy food options with low calories like certain vegetables, fruits (not berries), and healthy fats like avocados in your pantry instead!
Day 4: Start Taking Vitamins
In addition to improving your diet, you can ensure that your body is getting all the nutrients you need by taking vitamins! If you do take vitamins, take them alongside food so that they’re easier for your body to absorb.
Day 5: Create a Nighttime Routine
Make sure your body is getting the rest that it needs. Build a bedtime routine so that it’s easy for you to get seven to eight hours sleep. If you want to glow up in a month, you need your beauty sleep! So even if you have a busy schedule, make sure you get enough sleep by getting at least 7 hours of sleep each night.
Day 6: Swap Out Your Pillow Case
Sleeping on your side or stomach can damage your hair, cause breakouts (especially for acne-prone skin) and it can also cause fine lines to form on your face. While you can solve this by sleeping on your back, you could also try switching to a silk or satin pillowcase!
Day 7: Develop a Skincare Routine
Create a simple skincare routine with skincare products that you can maintain on a daily basis. In the morning, you should cleanse and moisturize your skin before applying SPF sunscreen. In the evening, just cleanse, wear a face mask some nights and moisturize! It won’t be long before you get that instant glow.
Day 8: Exfoliate
Exfoliation removes dead skin cells so that the healthy new cells beneath them are visible. Use a dry brush to exfoliate and remove dry skin from your body and gentle exfoliators like a face scrub or a chemical exfoliate to exfoliate the delicate skin on your face!
Day 9: Try Derma Planing
It’s normal for women to have a little peach fuzz on their face. Derma planing can remove that fuzz and leave your skin looking much smoother.
Day 10: Start Exfoliating Your Lips
Exfoliation can improve your skin, and it can also make your lips feel softer and look juicier. You can use a lip scrub or even a toothbrush to slough away the dead skin on your lips. Apply a lip balm afterward to lock in moisture!
Day 11: Use a Hair Mask
It’s normal for hair to become damaged over time, but you can repair a lot of that damage with a deep conditioner hair mask! Hair conditioners are good but a hair mask is even better! Apply the mask to your hair after you shampoo your hair and leave it on for the specified period of time before washing it off.
Day 12: Schedule a New Hair Cut
You don’t need to make any dramatic changes to your hair, like a new hairstyle, in order to glow up, but you should schedule a trim to get rid of split ends. Of course, if you’re not happy with your hair, a brand new haircut could give you a new surge of confidence.
Day 13: Work On Your Posture
Have you ever wished you could instantly look five pounds thinner? You can with good posture. Try to imagine that an invisible string is pulling you upwards.
Day 14: Clean Up Your Nails
If your nails are in bad shape, now’s the time to clean up your cuticles! Set aside five minutes to soak your nails in warm water. Afterward, you should cut and file your nails. You may also want to apply a coat of clear protective nail polish.
Day 15: Shop Your Closet
You don’t need to invest in a brand-new wardrobe if you want to improve the way you dress! Create a Pinterest board filled with outfits you love. From there, you should shop your own wardrobe and create cute new outfits from the clothes you already have!

Scrolling social media feeds, like Instagram, can often times be detrimental to your self-confidence when it’s already low. You need to give yourself a social media detox and really work on building your self-confidence through this 30 day challenge. When you have an aura of confidence, it’ll change the way other people see you! Start saying positive affirmations to yourself in the mirror each morning to change your mood into a more positive one.
Day 17: Enrich Your Mind
Make a point of learning new things every day. Working to develop your mind will improve your conversation skills. You’ll always have something interesting to say to the people that you meet!
Day 18: Start Meditating
Stress can take a toll on your health, and it can impact the way you look as well. Meditation is an effective way to take control of your emotions and calm down when you’re overwhelmed by stress. You can watch a Youtube video on meditation or download meditation apps, so you can easily meditate in your car or at the office!
Day 19: Set Goals
It’s easy to fall into a comfortable, complacent routine. Now that you’ve started taking steps to improve yourself, you should set some short and long-term goals. Make sure there’s always something you’re working towards.
Day 20: Start Saving
Even if you don’t have a lot of extra money, you should be able to start saving! Re-assess your budget and put some money towards savings each month. Set aside emergency funds and put money towards splurges for yourself!
Day 21: Start Curling Your Eyelashes
Curling your eyelashes will instantly enhance your eyes and make you look more awake. For better results, you may want to try warming up your eyelash curler before you use it.
Day 22: Clean Up Your Eyebrows
Full brows are in style, but taking some time to clean up your brows and pluck stray hairs will leave your brows looking better than ever. You may also want to try combing your brows into place and using an eyebrow pencil to make them look more defined!
Day 23: Start Steaming Your Clothes
It’s hard to look polished when your clothes are wrinkled! If you don’t love ironing, you can quickly get rid of wrinkles with a portable steamer!
Day 24: Accessorize
The right accessories can be the difference between a so-so outfit and a showstopper look. Invest in a few basic, versatile accessories that you can use to take your go-to outfits up a notch.
Day 25: Clean Up Your Outfits
Pilling and lint can make otherwise cute outfits look sloppy. Go over your old clothes with a lint roller and fabric shaver so that they’ll look like new again!
Day 26: Whiten Your Teeth
Use at home treatment or visit your dentist to whiten your teeth. You can also try a diy treatment using natural ingredients at home like coconut oil for oil pulling, brushing your teeth with baking soda, and rinsing your mouth with apple cider vinegar.
Day 27: Add a Luminizing Highlight to the Corner of Your Eyes
Even if you don’t like to wear a lot of makeup, you can make your eyes look bigger and more refreshed by adding a dot of a luminizing shade to the inner corner of your eye.
Day 28: Apply Body Lotion
Make sure your skin glow from top to bottom by using a rich body lotion. Lock in the moisture with a body oil or oils you already have in your house like olive oil or coconut oil. Even better if you give yourself oil massages to get that soft and glowing skin. Moisturizing your skin can leave it looking plumper, and it can even minimize the appearance of cellulite.
Day 29: Use a Sheet Mask
Have you ever wished you could transform your skin overnight? With a sheet mask, you can! Use a sheet mask at the end of the month so that your skin will glow for the next few days.
Day 30: Treat Yourself
Now that you’ve made it to the end of the month, you should treat yourself to something special that will make you feel great! Whether you buy a new outfit, go for a facial, get a massage or get your nails done, you should give yourself a gift to celebrate this new and improved version of yourself.
