An Everyday Light Summer Makeup Tutorial
Disclosure: This sponsored post is brought to you by Crest 3D White.
On many summer days, I don’t wear makeup but when I do it’s very light. Today I’m going to share with you my everyday light summer makeup routine so you can easily get a glowing, skin-warming look while avoiding a summer makeup meltdown.
Ok, let’s get started.
An Everyday Light Summer Makeup Tutorial
Before I begin, I use Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips across the top and bottom of my teeth. I like these a lot because they can whiten teeth as well as a professional lights/laser whitening treatment. Knowing that it will take about 30 minutes to complete my entire look, I put on the Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips first because that’s how long it takes for the whitestrips to finish the teeth whitening process.
So, that’s step 1.
Face
Step 2. Tinted Moisturizer
I don’t like to wear foundation daily during the summer so I opt for a tinted moisturizer instead. I apply a light layer of my tinted moisturizer with a blush brush and buff it on.
Step 3. Concealer
Next, I blend in my concealer. I put it anywhere I have a blemish or anywhere my skin is a little bit darker and I want brightened up. I also put it under my eyes and on my eyelids to remove any darkness around the eye area. Once done, I apply powder to set it.
Cheeks
Step 4. Bronzer
I use a powder bronzer to dust onto my cheeks, jawline, and forehead to create a natural appearance.
Step 5. Blush
I apply my favorite blush along the apple of my cheeks and blend with the bronzer.
Step 6. Highlighter
One of my favorite things is adding highlighter because I love the healthy looking glow it gives to your face. I add it on my cheekbones, a little on my temple, and the bridge of my nose.
Eyes
Step 7. Brows
Fuller brows are on-trend at the moment and are a more flattering shape for everyone’s face, but I make sure they also look well-manicured. I brush up my eyebrows with my brow brush, fill them in with my brow brush pen, and then use brow gel to hold in place.

Step 8. Eyeshadow
I like to sweep this gold eyeshadow across my lids because it looks nude and has a hint of shimmer, but there are some days where I don’t wear eyeshadow at all.
Step 9. Mascara
I finish the eye look with mascara.
Lips
Step 10. Lip Color
My last step is the lips, so I use a neutral bronzy lip color with a hint of pink.
By the time I finish putting on my makeup (and finish fixing my hair), which again takes me about 30 minutes, it’s time to remove my Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips to reveal my new gorgeous smile.
