How to Protect Your Healthy Skin From The Summer Rays

The sun this summer is blazing so you need to make every attempt to protect your skin from summer rays to prevent burns, cell damage, dryness, premature aging, and of course, skin cancer. So, I took the liberty into finding some great products that will protect the face, body, hair, and lips from the summer sun. Everyone should have a good face moisturizer especially one that has spf and is oil-free. I’m currently using Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector with spf 42 for Face because it checks off everything I need in a summer moisturizer. It ultra lightweight (perfect for oily skin) and protects against the three major causes of skin cell damage: UV rays, oxidation, and overproduction of sebum.

Coola Sport Continuous Spray SPF 30 is great for the body. Because it’s a spray, it goes on evenly on the skin. It’s water-resistant and has anti-aging benefits. It also has different scents to choose from like Pina Colada (my fave), Fresh Cucumbers, and Citrus Mimosa. If you have sensitive skin, there’s an unscented version too.

This one is my favorite. Frederic Fekkai Marine Summer Hair After Sun Daily Mask is a great product to protect your hair from the killer sun. It deep conditions and detangles sun-parched hair. It also protects the hair from UV rays using a Solarshield protection created by Fekkai. Checkout his Summer Collection. Great choice for hair protection. ($19)

Last but not least is the lips. I bought this a week ago and I must say it really softens my lips. Nivea A Kiss of Protection Lip Care, protects the lips with an SPF 15 while nourishing it with antioxidants. It also soothes lips with the vitamin E infused in it. Soft lips with SPF 30…….You get the best of both worlds!
