As the calendar turns a new leaf, many of us find ourselves reflecting on the past and setting intentions for the future. For me, 2024 is not just another year; it’s an opportunity to become the best version of myself. This journey encompasses various aspects of self-improvement, from physical well-being to mental health. Join me as I share my personal goals and strategies for a transformative year ahead.
Goal 1. Healthier Hair
One of the first steps I’ve taken towards self-improvement in this new year is addressing a concern that has been bothering me for a while – my thinning hair. My brother is getting married later on in the year and I want to feel confident with healthier hair before the big day. So, I’ve decided to embrace a new hair care system tailored to tackle this issue head-on with help from Viviscal.
Viviscal’s Hair Growth Supplements are the perfect solution to address thinning hair. They’re 100% drug free, and proven to help you achieve fuller, thicker, and healthier hair in as little as 3 months!*
I’m super excited about this new hair growth journey of mine. Viviscal has 3 different supplements that I plan to take daily. I’ll also be using their hair care products on each wash day.
Here’s what my hair looks like now.
Investing in products designed to promote hair health and thickness is not just for a physical change but a step towards becoming a better me- having inner confidence, strength, and living my purpose.
I’ll be doing a follow up post in the future so follow along or join me if healthier hair is one of your goals for the New Year.
Goal 2. Daily Journaling
I’ll admit. Journaling was one of my goals last year but I wasn’t consistent with it. There are so many great reasons to journal, one being that it’s great for your mental well-being. Journaling provided me an outlet for my thoughts and emotions, and allowed me to reflect on my day, set goals, and express gratitude. However, it’s hard to make it into a consistent habit.
So how will I do things differently this year?
Well…I’m going to make sure I’m doing it at the same time each day. This was the biggest problem for me in the past. I was doing it at different times of the day whenever I remembered. This time around, I’ll practice journaling every morning before getting out of bed. To ensure this, I’m placing my journal on my bedside table.
By doing this, I’m building a habit that will feel easier to keep up with.
Goal 3. More Strength Training and Yoga
Getting back in shape is a common resolution, but for me, it goes beyond the desire to fit into a certain size. Regular exercise has become a cornerstone of my journey to becoming the best version of myself. I love my morning walks and that’s something I’ve been consistent with, but I need to get back to the gym and do more strength-training workouts.
I also want to try more calming yoga sessions from the comfort of my home. I can just open up my laptop and find a workout on online. Exercise isn’t just about the aesthetics for me; it’s about feeling strong, energetic, and resilient.
Goal 4. More Balanced and Wholesome breakfasts
I’ve made a conscious effort to prioritize a balanced and wholesome breakfast. It’s not that I wasn’t doing it before, it just wasn’t enough throughout the week.
I’m including more hearty oatmeals, protein-packed smoothies, and my favorite: energy-boosting breakfast toast.
This small change will have a significant impact on my energy levels and set a positive tone for the rest of the day.
The journey to becoming the best version of myself is not about drastic transformations but rather a series of intentional and sustainable choices. Each step, whether big or small, contributes to a holistic approach to self-improvement.
I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and super happy to include Viviscal as one of the building blocks of my transformative year.
Becoming the best version of myself is an ongoing process, and with each passing day, I am growing, learning, and evolving. Here’s to a year of self-discovery, resilience, and the journey towards a healthier and happier me.
