Being at home doesn’t mean you can’t be earning money. In fact, this is the perfect time to start a new side hustle. These are work from home jobs that start out part-time that you can do to get money fast. Some of them will enable you to make an extra $100 every day! Others can go on to become your full-time job. Below I’ve made a list of work from home jobs you can do in your spare time to make money.
1. Proofreading
Anyone who writes needs a proofreader and so long as you’ve got a good grasp on the English language you can be a proofreader. It can be a bit of a difficult field to get into though. Fiverr is a great place to start. The site is well known for tasks that cost only $5 but you don’t have to limit yourself to charging that much. See what others are charging for the service and go towards the lower end of the scale to start out. In no time you’ll be getting work.

If you’d prefer to be the one writing you can do that too! Fiverr is once again a great site to find freelance writing jobs but you can also find them on a number of sites like Freelance Writing Jobs. With this job, your only limitation on earning is how quickly you can do work and how much time you have to do it.

3. Blogging
Blogging is something I’m only including because I am a blogger and I want you to know that you CAN make money from blogging. It’s one of my favorite work from home jobs on this list; but, it is hard work and very slow to get started. I currently earn between $7,000-$10,000+ a month blogging. If you’re looking for cash in a hurry, this isn’t the side hustle for you. But, if you have time to develop your blog and grow your audience you can literally make thousands every month.

Virtual assistants are just like regular assistants, except they’re online. And they can make up to $75 an hour! The best way to get started is to get in touch with local businesses and ask if they need a virtual assistant!

There are a number of websites you can find transcription work on in a variety of different fields. Give each of them a try and see which ones work best for you.

6. Selling Crafts
Can you knit or sew or do any other crafty thing? Then you’ve got a built-in source of income! Yes, you can make what you sell either via Etsy or Facebook Marketplace. This can be quite lucrative and in fact, many people leave their day jobs to do it full time.
Aside from blogging, I create printables and I sell them here at the HBH shop. I was already creating printables and giving it away to my readers for free but then I saw people actually selling all kinds of printables on sites like Etsy. I wanted to do the same thing and open up my own shop but I really didn’t know where to start so I bought this course and it has been super helpful. I opened up my shop in May 2019 and now I make on average around an extra $1000+ a month from printables alone! Selling your own products is another one of my favorite work from home jobs.
7. Sell Merch on Amazon
Did you know that you can make and sell merchandise on Amazon? It’s true! All you need is a little bit of design know-how and you can start selling your designs on merchandise for the whole world to see. It doesn’t even have to be something complex, just look at how popular Supreme is.
You can also resell items through Amazon FBA Program. You can find good deals on products at brick and mortar stores or online and resell them on Amazon at the retail price.
