How I Keep My Skin In Shape Post-Summer
Fall is the perfect time to reassess the cleansing methods you’re using. It took you through summer (when we wear minimal makeup), but is it good enough for fall? My skin gets dry in the colder months so I need products that cleanses well yet still hydrates. Recently, I started using this Double Cleansing Method by Neutrogena when I’m getting #unready for the night. It’s a nightly ritual of cleansing my face so my skin will be ready for the next day.
The Perfect Makeup Remover
I wear makeup daily and every night I remove it, wash my face, moisturize, go to bed, then wake up the next day with fabulous skin. You know why? I never skip over the first step in any skincare routine….removing all traces of makeup. Leaving even a small trace of makeup on your skin before going to bed can clog pores, cause acne breakouts, and damage collage production. Back in my college days, there were a couple of times I would forget to remove my eye makeup or foundation and my skin paid for it big time. Now, I make a habit to use makeup removers like Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes.
I like these a lot because they are oil-free and one wipe can remove even the toughest of makeup. They’re specially formulated to remove 99.3% of stubborn makeup and impurities, but also hydrate the skin at the same time. Again, this is the one step you shouldn’t forget.
The Right Cleanser
I need a gel cleanser that not only removes dirt and oil, but also exfoliates to help keep my skin bright & even-toned. It also must be a need for times when the fall weather leaves my skin with dry and flaky patches. So, I use Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub because it’s not harsh on my skin, does a great job removing dead skin cells and prevents my pores from clogging. It also aids in the penetration of my skin care products allowing makeup to go on much more smoothly and leaves skin feeling & looking fabulous. It’s been a lifesaver for my skin!
I gently massage my face for up to a minute and I instantly feel a nice cooling sensation. It’s amazing!
I also like that it aids in the penetration of my skin care products allowing makeup to go on much more smoothly and leaves skin feeling & looking fabulous.
When I pair it Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, this double cleansing method, keeps my skin clean, radiant, and pimple-free. It’s been a lifesaver for my skin!
Moisturizer
My fall skincare routine wouldn’t be complete without a hydrating moisturizer. One that promotes collagen-building and anti-aging effects. I put a thick layer all over my face and neck.
