6 Eyeliners You Need In Your Life
My friends always tell me that I have too many eyeliners and I always tell them that I have what is called an “eyeliner collection” because not all black liners are created equal. In the past, I’ve only needed two types of eyeliners: a liquid liner and a pencil. Today, beauty brands have expanded their options with subcategories of both which I felt was worth looking into.
So, I’m sharing my 6 must-haves. Do you need all six? Probably not, but it might give you an idea on what you should add to your own collection.
1. The long-lasting pencil
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil ($20): The perfect everyday eye pencil that’s deeply pigmented and won’t budge once it sets.
2.The really skinny, precision tip liner
Revlon ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner ($7.99): Sometimes you need a pencil to create precise thin lines and this liquid liner does just that.
3. The ultimate “wakeup makeup” liner!
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Inner Rim Liner ($20): The perfect eye pencil that brightens eyes for a wide-awake effect. It’s specifically for the inner rim of the eye but it can also be used to highlight the brow bone for added shape and definition.
4. The highly-pigmented liner
Make Up For Ever Artist Liner ($19): This ultra creamy, smudge-proof liner offers intense color, glides on smoothly and lasts all day long.
5. The inexpensive color pencil
NYX Cosmetics Slide On Eye Pencil ($7.99): A creamy pencil that acts like a liquid liner without the mess and it comes in a variety of pigmented colors to craft an amazing eye look.
6. The super smudgy eyeliner pot
Stila Cosmetics Smudge Pots ($20): This should be in every makeup bag. It’s a gel liner and eyeshadow in one! I use this to create the perfect long-lasting cat eye!
